This sub’s users almost certainly have more in common with the rider on the TT bike than the lady on the omafiets or whatever she’s on.
Like, this whole sub is people nerding out about obscure minutiae to do with their bikes and setup and what colour tires should I get and what kind of derailleur works with this cassette and what handlebars are those and what pieces of flair should I put on my bike and on and on and on. It’s the same fucking hobby – they’re just doing it differently.
The hardon that so many in this sub have for trying to pretend that they’re somehow cooler and less affected than *those people* who really care about performance cycling or whatever, while simultaneously obsessing about getting the exact right tan wall tires for their 1995 hard rock that they got because ten other people got 1995 hard rocks is so weird.
And, yes, Triathletes need to wash their damn bikes if they’re going to piss on them. Animals.
