Vpace is a German brand more known for their childrens and youth mountain bike range, but they also sell road and gravel bikes. This TR Titanium frame was on sale at their website for the rim brake model, a very good deal for a Titanium frame (I think 1400€ including the fork).
I built it up with an Ultegra 105 mix. Went with a 50/34 crankset and an 11/34 cassette to make this one my “climbing bike”. Rest of the components I chose lighter ones, but not extremely expensive weight weenie carbon parts too: Prime Doyenne Lightweight Alu handlebars and stem, DT Swiss PR1400 Dicut 21 and SLR Titanium saddle. Haven’t put the bike on a scale but I think it weighs around 7.5kg.
The frame’s ride feel is pretty interesting. It feels like a steel bike but it is lighter and stiffer. Still have to do a descent with it at my local climb but just from riding it on the flat it feels super zippy and very direct, steering wise.
Only thing I am not super 100% about is the saddle and handlebar tape combo. Couldn’t find any beigeish tape that matches the color of the SLR saddle so went with Cinelli natural cork there.
(Edit: Also sorry for not aligning the rear rim for the picture. Bike is literally unrideable now)
