Maybe I missed it before he snapped the seat tube off, but why in the hell did he not let that thing sit in penetrating oil for a week as soon as he realized it was seized? That frame could have been saved. It still might be salvageable, but just much more work now.
For the record, I have had exactly 1 seatpost beat me in 10 years of extracting seized seat posts, but the frame was largely roached outside of the seatpost, so I went in a little half cocked.
