Hello all! I’ve recently taken this bike to the shop as the gears haven’t been working great recently and they informed me that I need to replace this RD due to the wobble, however it seems absolutely impossible to source. It’s a Campagnolo 9 speed with a long cage, it says champ triple on the mech the rest of the parts are Xenon. I was wondering does anyone know if any other rear derailers would be able to be used instead ? Or it’s possible to fix the wobble instead of having to buy a new part ?
Many thanks in advance 😃

You really should zoom out on the problem. You’re chasing down an RD to get this (I’m fairly certain this belongs to the second gen Campy 9 actuation, which means that many other 9/10/11 speed med cage Campy RDs can replace it directly, so there are options but it’s still a hassle). But, even then you’ve got the question of how committed you want to be to keeping a Xenon 9 bike going. It’s only a matter of time before you get bit by shifter/cassette/fhb/wheel-related concerns as things wear. This could be the moment to get off the train. Xenon was their attempt to go way downmarket and play the OEM spec game and the parts show it. There’s not a lot there to justify the expense of keeping it going.
