Hi All, first I have no affiliation with Aeroe Racks. However, I recently installed them and love the rack system compared to my previous 16L Ortlieb Seatbag.
Here is my bikepacking rig's newest setup. If anyone has any questions hit me up. I'd be happy to share my experience with the Aeroe rack and bags. First change I made was to remove the buckle straps and use these Sea to Summit rubber straps. The rubber straps are much more secure and faster to install and remove the bags. Also, if you need to tie things to the outside , like these water shoes, it's easy to cinch them down.
I just completed a two day adventure deep into the woods of Ontario. This is my new setup for long haul trips. 9 total bags on the bike.

Don’t know why but my photo got deleted when I made the post. I am new to reddit. So maybe I don’t know the right process to post a photo.
Please post a pic of your broken seatstays, when they snap.
Why were the cradles mounted **vertically** and also behind the center of gravity of the rear axle???
* The bags offer the most air resistance in this position!?
* The bags move the most within the cradles in this upright position!?
* The mechanical leverage is also the highest due to the high and far back mounting point of the cradles!?
I also have an Aeroe Spider Rack and have mounted the side cradles at an angle and lower and over the axle.
Btw, i just started another thread about the Aeroe Spider Rack:

I have the Aeroe rack and pannier receiver so I can use panniers and couldn’t be more happier with them. Haven’t had any problems.
Mainly used them for commuting as the roads were I was living were pretty bad so mtb but was the best was to get to work comfortably and not wreck rims of my other bikes.
