Did my longest ride by far, previous was 53km, hit several walls on the way back as heading into a head wind. I have an endurance bike avant giro. Loving it, however hears winds suck so I was thinking of get some clip on tri bars, to get more aero. Any suggestions?

Also causes of numb toes, at the moment still have flat *don't judge me. I've had the hybrid clipless/flat mtb pedals before, are road bike clipless pedals and shoes harder to clip in and out of compared to mtbs. And will it likely help my numb toes issue.

You can get aero without aero bars, and it’s good practice to do so. Aero bars take your hands away from the controls so unless you’re on an empty flat road they’re not going to be optimal. Better to just learn to tuck properly.

Road bike pedals are no harder to clip into than any other type of pedal with a clipless system. Just takes a little practice is all.

Toes could be for any reason, but the additional rigidity of a road bike shoe will mean the toes won’t be trying to do the work so they may well help.
