OK, but it doesn’t really show the resto, it shows a guy taking apart a rusty bike and assembling some shinier parts. Most of us can turn a screwdriver and spray WD40, I’d be more interested in stripping, chrome work, parts access, etc.

Not a bike from the 50s. It’s at least 1970s with that much in alloy parts. The slant parallelogram rear derailler wasn’t even invented until 1964. Square-taper bottom brackets and alloy crankarms didn’t become popular until the late 70s and not used on cheap bikes till the early 80s,
And that was a super-cheap bike to begin with: A rear brake bridge that was just a rectangle of stamped steel, as well as crimped fork and rear stamped dropouts.
And holy crap with the excessive pyromania.
Interesting how you completely skipped over how you ended up removing the stuck seatpost. Guessing more flamethrowing.

As a mechanic this was just painful to watch.
