I LOVE bikepacking and taking photos! But man do I struggle bringing my camera. It’s a different setup every trip! I want something that protects my Fuji x100, is waterproof, but also quick to draw and accessible. Still haven’t found the solution! Last trip I clipped a bag to the roll bar but it bounced around so much I fear for the internals of the camera so I wore the strap for big gravel descents. Thanks in advance!

  1. Little messenger bag (Chrome Kadet). I have a drybag inside in case it rains, but usually it’s just the cam and eventually another lens in a neoprene bag.

  2. BitbeanBandit on

I always have my Ricoh GRIII with me, on and off the bike. It’s very compact. When on the bike I put it in one of my jersey pockets. It’s not weather sealed so when I know it might rain I’ll put it in a ziploc bag to make sure it doesn’t get wet. I was interested in the X100 series as well but decided it was too big for what I wanted it for.
