when somebody asks my 6 year old, “but why are you bringing 9 bikes?” (We are a family of 5 – there are two more inside the bus)
6 year old went off with a longer answer than they were prepared for and a more detailed answer than I could dream of,
“Well, Papi needs one bike to get to work and carry my little brother in the basket. He needs another for mountain trails. Mommy needs one for shopping and bringing the whole family (our Urban Arrow) and she needs one for the mountain too. My sister and I need our fast bikes. My little brother needs his strider bike since he is learning to balance first.”
He only left out our folding bike 🙂

Until they make a bike that does everything ima need more than one. That’s my take on the bike situation in 2024.
