Silver rims on dark bikes look classic/timeless. Black rims look modern/faster. I run silver rims on my black bike because they age better (don’t show chips and scratches as much) and I like the vintage look. Plus, the slower your bike looks, the better you feel when you pass someone.

Silver, especially running a brake. I am not a fan of colored rims with a brake surface, raw aluminum all day
