Hello, at first I would like to welcome everyone and thank you that I can belong to this subreddit. I'm completely green when it comes to technical issues, and therefore I have a question: is it possible to fit the NS Bikes 142x12mm hub which has a description on the manufacturer's website:

Material: 6061-T6 aluminum body, 7075-T6 aluminum axle and drum, steel bolts

Mounting width: 142x12mm

Bearing: 4 machine bearings (2 in the body, 2 in the drum)

Mechanism: 4-lock, 27 points of contact (every 13.3 degrees)

IS standard brake disc mounting (6 screws)

Number of holes: 32

Weight: ~299 g

Number of gears 8/ 9/ 10/ 11

Will I be able to mount a 12-speed cassette? Thank you all in advance for your answers 🙂

If it’s a freehub it’s probably a shimano hg. You can get 12s set ups for it. If you can change your hub caps you can potentially upgrade to xd or Ms and have more options. Have fun
