Thinking of getting this rack, cos it's on special at the moment. But I've got an XL Merida 140 and the wheelbase is 51". The specs say it supports 48" "out of the box", but I see the wheel cups are staggered for 2 similar length bikes. But it also looks like the cups can be slid off the end and rearranged to make a "long and short" arrangement. I'm wondering if this would fit an XL bike?
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Also any feedback on this rack in general?

My parents have that rack. It’s pretty annoying to use with how densely-packed the bikes are and how tricky it is to get the frame straps done up. Bars, cracks, and everything else is tricky to manage to keep things from touching. However, I remember it fitting my Clash (49″) wheelbase fine. I think you could squeeze out another two inches from it.
