What is this mark on my valve stem for? Should the valve be pushed in so the mark lines up with the nut or is this good? Thanks

The valve should not be pushed in. The way you have it is correct. Most don’t have any mark like this. The only ones I have that do, it’s the same color as the logo on the box, so I figured it was branding.
