I have been looking for a low-cost way to get into full suspension mountain bikes.
This frame crossed my radar. It’s a 2019 diamondback Release 3.
All the good stuff has been taken off except the Fox Float DPX2. As you can see he put the shock in the clamp. I don’t know of it is just resting there or he locked it in and got wiser in the later picture.
I don’t know how to tell what condition it is in. Aside from a visual inspection for any obvious physical deformation what else should I look for? How can I test it without having wheels on the frame to put my weight on the shock? I do have a shock pump from my front fork is that any help?
I have enough parts on hand that all I would need is a fork and wheel set.
What would you offer for this frame with and possibly without that rear shock?

It says frame only i thing the shok is in there just to keep it in shape for photos. Even if the shock comes with it the clamp isnt touching anywhere that matters.
First for full sus bikes get shock pump its a must have, second, i would pick an air shock because i would say its easier to service that coil one.
