Hey all, I’m trying to fit a set of wheels I just picked up. For the front fork, I’m using the original Poseidon QR fork, and using a Thru Axle to QR adapter 12mm to 9mm
It fits perfect, and everything spins fine, but the moment I tighten the QR skewer when mounted on the fork, the wheel becomes harder to spin. I took it for a quick ride and it didn’t seem like it’s rubbing, or anything. It just doesn’t seem to spin free.
I checked that it’s not the brake pads, I checked the wheel’s hub by popping off the cap on the non rotor side, and it seems to be greased (I spun the wheel without it being mounted as well in my hands and it spins fine). I don’t want to ruin the fork or wheels, so just curious if I’m doing anything wrong with this
Someone suggested maybe adding a spacer, the other thing I read is maybe the bears are too tight so it would need adjustment?
