Hi all. Trying to get this off without going to the bike shop. Can I take a flat head screwdriver and hammer to knock out each cup?
In terms of getting it back on. Can I make something homemade to press it in? Was thinking of stoping at Home Depot to MacGyver together a tool for this.

If you are going to DIY it, I would use a long socket extension bar and mallet to tap it out rather than a flathead. This reduces chance of damage to the BB shell rather than a flathead blade scraping into it.
Don’t focus on smashing out one section of the cup. Tap on one section, rotate so you’re hitting another section of the cup, repeat. Tap it out evenly.
Bearing presses can be DIY’d with a long threaded rod, some nuts, and suitably sized washers or metal plates.
Uuh you might want to inspect that corrosion at the hole where the cables come out first. Looks kinda bad from here
Thanks. Yeah it’s my 2x cable guide. The bolt is rounded unfortunately and I’m trying to get that removed. Any dead to get that out?
Use a wood dowel and a mallet.
Bearing press kits are super cheap on aliexpress (probably ebay too).
