I was at a local pawn shop when I saw this bike. It looks like a Specialized Amira SL4 Expert from 2016. He was offering 300 for it which surprised me because the MSRP said it was 2,000.
The tires are obviously beat up and the chain is super rusty. The shop owner said he’ll replace them and give me a call once he’s done. I’m worried about the cassette though, the teeth are really uneven. I’m not sure if it’s normal wear or a red flag. Is this something I can hand off to the bike shop to get it fixed? Should I get it?

for 300 seems good. the cassete its well. but there is a detail, the rear mech hanger looks broken, maybe for a crash. check if its in entire piece or think on a replace.
Why does it surprise you it’s $300? It’s an 8 year old road bike with rim brake. Seems on par.
