I just noticed this on 1 part of my rear gp5000 str. I was wondering what this is and if it's still safe to ride? It doesn't go all around the tire, only around 1/3 of it. It's the same on the other side too

How does the thread wear indicators look?
Anecdotally, this has happened on most of my conti tires as they wear in. I haven’t ridden a set of str’s yet, but this has happened on gp4000’s and whatever version of the gp5000’s I’ve run. I’m pretty sure I remember this happening on an old set of conti mountain bike tires. Never really an issue outside of looks. But worth keeping an eye on it if you find sealant weeping from those.
