I'm planning on biking through Scotland so I bought a krampus 3 months ago. I'm just wondering if my dirt wizards are plenty for Scotland. It's probably gonna be pretty wet coming summer so I want some tyres that could handle the mud. Would my dirt wizards suffice or should I go for bonntrager xr2 or xr4?
Have any of you guys been to Scotland? What would be your advice, tyre-wise?

I’m running a 3” minion up front, it’s beefy for sure. Also have a duro crux 3.25 hanging in the shop that rolls faster.
Nice back rack what’s the name brand
If you’re going off road and doing any of the bigger hill roads, anything over 2.2(ish)” is comfy and capable enough. I’ve used Bontrager xr2/3 for HT550, Maxxis Rekon Race for Deeside/Cairngorms stuff. All tubeless and all worked for me. Depends how tough you are on gear or how much you like smashing your rim off water-bars though.
