Would you buy a used bike with epoxy filled fork stanchion pitting?

I'm trying to find a second hand full sus bike for my son and there's not many options for 153cm height (we're in Norway, so smaller secondhand market). One option is a Canyon Young Hero but the fork stanchions are pitted and filled with epoxy. No information about if the bushings were scratched or repaired. Is it acceptable or should I avoid this type of damage?
