Looking for collective help to identify this model, possibly Canadian made in the 1980s. I noticed that lion logo faces towards the front of the bike, rather than towards the rear. I’ve not been able to find this logo orientation or colourway in old catalogues (yet). Thank you for the expertise.

start looking for late 80s catalogues and go forward in time from there. Nice lugs.
This is actually more early 80s. Look through the vintage Peugeot catalogs online. The direction of the lion is irrelevant.
