are you ready for an unforgettable Adventure through Germany’s hars region from historic castles to idyllic hiking trails immerse yourself in the charm of this breathtaking scenery welcome to the heart of [Music] Germany in the picturesque Village of hanen CLE stands the Gustav Adolf Stave Church a remarkable tribute to history and Architectural [Applause] craftsmanship built in 198 this church draws inspiration from the much older wooden churches of Norway reflecting their distinctive design and cultural significance these Norwegian predecessors known for their I iconic wooden structures served as a model for this German marble with a seating capacity of 240 this church stands in stark contrast to the average Norwegian wooden Church which typically accommodates around 50 people the intricate Woodwork and attention to detail showcased the skill and dedication of the Craftsman who brought this Vision to life it’s no wonder that this church holds a high position on the list of the most remote remarkable buildings in Northern [Music] Germany the boat tow ranks among the most enchanting places and is the foremost Rocky Valley North of the Alps in Germany The Gorge with an impressive depth of 280 M offers a breathtaking spectacle on both sides of the bod tow you’ll find the Rost strap and the hexans plats these stunning location s are easily accessible via a picturesque Cable Car however for those who want to fully experience the beauty a hiking tour to these places and along the banks of the bod river is highly [Music] recommended on the southern side of the hars mountains near the village of Wen Reed you’ll find a monastery that dates back to the early 12th century in 1525 during the German Peasants War the monastery was destroyed today the ruins of this historic Monastery are open to visitors and its history is showcased who wouldn’t want to walk across the longest suspension bridge in Germany with an impressive length of 483 M and a height of 100 m this bridge has held this title since its opening in [Music] 2017 the suspension bridge runs parallel to the dam of the rapb tow providing a unique View for the true Daredevils there is also a giga swing at the bottom of the bridge and a mega [Music] zipin one of the most enchanting locations in the hars is undoubtedly the toil mow or Devil’s wall this impressive rock formation stretches over a length of approximately 20 km where it rises above ground at various points as the name suggests numerous myths and fairy tales have emerged around this wall including stories from the brothers [Music] grim in the village of trebur located in the bod Valley you’ll find a number of idyllic buildings this Village originated in the 18th century as a result of Mining and was only accessible on [Music] foot even today a part of the village remains reachable exclusively by foot including these beautiful buildings that off for a splendid view along the [Music] boat Castle ramberg situated in the city of mansfeld is an ancient Monument with a rich history constructed by King Otto III in the year 992 the castle has passed through the hands of various owners and even served as a children’s clinic during the era of the German Democratic Republic presently it finds itself in a state of Uncertain ownership and is in dire need of [Music] renovation enjoy a peaceful walk around the odor t a small Reservoir in the heart of the hars the 4 km route partly on a boardwalk unveils enchanting views of natural beauty the Serene environment and picturesque Landscapes make this walk a refreshing experience not to be missed when visiting the [Music] region Castle falkenstein is built on top of a hill dominating the surrounding landscape the construction of this Majestic Castle began in the 11th century and was continuously expanded and modernized over the centuries originally serving as a Strategic Defense stronghold and residence for various noble families [Music] visitors can explore the Majestic halls and Towers offering a fascinating glimpse into medieval [Music] life at the foot of the hars mountains lies the ancient town of blankenburg this city is known for its historical architecture and has numerous attractions in addition to all the half timbered houses and the Beautiful surroundings the castle of the same name Towers above the city the original Castle blankenberg was built in the 12th century and served as a royal residence for a long time a visit to this town is incomplete without a visit to the [Music] castle the kif Hauser Monument is an impressive structure steeped in history and legends it was built on the kif Hauser Mountain as a tribute to Emperor Wilhelm 1 according to Legend Emperor Barbarosa rests in an underground chamber within the mountain and is destined to return one day to save Germany in times of need construction of the monument began in 1890 and was completed in 1896 the design incorporates both Neo Romanesque and neogothic elements resulting in in a majestic appearance the central tower Rises to impressive Heights surrounded by statues representing historical and mythological figures the monument is open for interior and exterior exploration and the climb to the top offers a breathtaking view of the [Music] surroundings the last location I visited is the town of stalber stalber originated around the 11th century as a mining settlement the impressive stalber Castle dating back to the 13th century Towers above the town the castle features a round Tower as its oldest part built around 1200 and acquired its current appearance in the 17th century the town maintains a distinct late medieval character with beautifully restored half-timbered houses from the late Gothic period and Renaissance style
