I bought this “vintage bianchi” II Six V touring bike for $400 to mend a relationship, got duped by this lady, and possibly by the bike purchase. Any experts able to help this fool?
Looks like a Bianchi touring bike. Maybe from the 80s? Bianchi stopped manufacturing bike in Italy in 1967 according to a Google search. Something like 90+ percent of bikes from the late 70 on were manufactured in Asia (my estimation)
bernie-dub on
To really help you we need better pictures, especially of whole bike from the drivers side. We can’t even see the cockpit.
To answer your question it appears to be a legit Bianchi. Probably a Bianchi Volpe from the late 80’s.

$400 seems high but not crazy.
It’s a Japanese bianchi. Probably around ’89.
