Stick a magnet to it. There were a batch of ~1997-1998 team bikes that were actually made of Ti instead of 853 steel. The steel version is rare enough, the Ti version is beyond rare. The Ti frames were painted and decal’d as 853 because Reynolds was the sponsor. Serial number should start SAT xxxx.
Undoubtably a team bike particularly with the number holder on the top tube.
These were domestic US team frames raced in a bunch of events. Pretty cool GT frame
