I cracked the top tube on my custom-painted Aethos a few months back, and I had the shape of the crack painted onto the repaired frame with gold leaf. Otherwise repainted with gold-flecked BMW Carbon Black like the rest of the frame.
Not too many changes with the build, but trying out BBInfinite oversized pulleys since the stock Dura Ace pulleys have been noisier than expected + black YBN chain to match the chainring (unfortunately with a silver quick link). Also opted for a Darimo Sub 4 seat collar after losing the standard Specialized one.
Looking forward to sending it up and down the French Alps at Haute Route in a few months!
