1) is a kona jake the snake for $250 a good buy? it’s gotta be several years old if it’s still running v-brakes. interested in a beginner road cycling bike that could also handle light gravel.
2) any idea what a kona jake 27” would fit me? i’m 5’7”. everything from kona’s website measures frames by cm so not sure what measurement seller is going on.

It is an okay but not great price. It is a Kona Jake from the 2000s. The sizing 27″ does not make any sense. A common bike size measurement is from the center of the crank to the middle of the seat tube and top tube meet in cm. Judging from where the head tube meets the other tubes I don’t think it will fit you. It is probably around 56cm +/-2cm
