I will soon be cycling from Mt Ventoux, across Provence to Nice/Monaco and then on to Italy. I am looking for some feedback from anyone who has experience cycling in this area on the route I have planned –> https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45234835
I will be riding a touring bike with road-ish tyres so trying to avoid anything significantly off road (dirt road is fine just no singletrack). The whole place looks stunning but want to make the most of it if there are any must-ride roads.
Appreciate any help / advice / feedback on my planning.

Just curious but how will you go up Mt. Ventoux?
Looks good; the verdon is beautiful. Quite a lot of elevation. (You can always revert to EV8; which will cross more towns) I remember crossing a big military base there; so no camping for a bit. If you would like even more elevation you can have a look at the the grand tour des préalpes d’azur.
