  2. I wanted more top end while preserving the climbing gears so, I swapped:

    * 40t chainring replaced by 44t
    * 10-44t XPLR cassette replaced by 10-50t Eagle XX1
    * Rival XPLR derailleur replaced by Eagle X01 AXS

    This configuration actually sheds about 0.1 lbs while adding an even lower bailout gear (0.88 vs 0.9) and providing a much better chainline on the flats. The cassette was purchased gently used and the derailleur was on sale.
