My weird old Griffen Vulcan B4C Track build! Boron Carbide MMC, now with socially acceptable bar width. Zipp cranks, Dura-Ace Track hubs, Profile BDC carbon steerer fork, Cane Creek SC1 headset. Light, stiff and FAST!

Gorgeous bike, interesting history! I had never heard of these bikes before. But a question for you and the folks of this forum in general: it seems like drop down handlebars have fallen out of favor. Why do you and most of the other folks on this sub go for the flat bars? Not sure if my terminology is correct but I suspect you know what I mean. Just curious.
But cool bike thanks for sharing

Yeah I kind of figured it was a comfort thing. I like drop downs because they look cool but honestly they also offer a variety of hand positions if I get uncomfortable. But I get it if people choose it for comfort. Thanks for your response!

Most importantly, it’s neat.
