It’s not my bike, it just caught my eye when I saw it parked outside of the Whitney Museum in NYC. How many aero gains do you need to make up for the rolling resistance of those 4” tires?
Aero bars aren’t just used for aerodynamics – many bikepackers use them as a way to rest their wrists and stretch their back on long straight non technical sections.
Doesn’t stop them being incredibly ugly tho

I have aero bars on all my bikes, including my Pugsley. They are for comfort more then speed and work great.
