Lost it during a ride probably after a couple years on my 2022 Ultimate, I already have installed the k-edge chain guard on the front Rival AXS derailleur and always adjusted the limits (dropped the chain only once in 2 years on the outside of the crank), does it really make sense to glue a new one on?

Probably not…I applied 3M helicopter/bike wrap tape to any areas of the frame that are prone to damage, and highly recommend a chain catcher as well to prevent a chain drop (this is a MUST HAVE if your groupset is SRAM Rival).
These plates have limited use and frequently fall off…if fact when I saw mine was loose, I just wrap more clear helicopter tape around it, Also, the 3M tape is soo much cheaper then the bike wrap kits and it should be viewed as a sacrificial protection. After completing a long off-road and mud race, I replaced several sections that I’d applied to bottom bracket and lower frame area of my Grail.
I bought one but haven’t been able to remove all of the remaining hard bits of whatever heck adhesive they use to mount the damned thing. I tried heating it up, rubbing it with acetone and also chipping away at it, but its still there, so I have an unused plate.
3M F506 worked for me.
