Everything Electric North show Tour (Harrogate)

welcome back to the channel today I’m at the everything electric North show in Harriet and uh it’s a beautiful day as predicted by Robert L Allen and uh we couldn’t have ask for better weather today so there’s quite a bit to see there’s a lot of test drives going there’s a couple of new vehicles to see and uh I’ve had a bit of a all round and I’ve shot some footage so I’ll just show you some of that footage now in a minute um but yeah it’s looking to be a really good day there’s plenty of cues first thing for the test drives so hopefully lots of people are getting some new experiences there and uh come with me to see a bit more of the show just after the ticket gate was the solar car part company this was at last year show too the solar canopy can be a temporary structure as it is here which can provide EV charge points reducing the Reliance on the grid and charging batteries when demand is lower as we progress beyond the entrance we reach the electric alley sponsored by jct600 all right yeah fine wow on the right was the entrance to the main hall this robotic lawnmower caught by eye though I don’t know how practical it would be for some FR Gardens in leads I imagine it being vulnerable to theft next up was the Tesla Owners Club displaying members cars this included an example of the Tesla Roadster like the one Elon Musk launched into space it was smaller than I thought it was beyond the Teslas we had the mg stall with their new cyberster sorry well you’re in there can you just do the roof again one second everybody clear y you good [Music] thank you very much there was also quite a queue for test drives of the mgzs and four and five models Swifty were at the show with their legal electric scooter I believe these are registered as mopeds and require insurance number plates and all the usual stuff with motor vehicles in the UK next up we came to Aura with their 03 small car like awhe moving on from Aura we had forward with our electric Explorer and plug in hybrid [Music] cougar Beyond Ford was an interesting pair of vehicles from Silence there was the Z1 electric moped and the 04 micro car one unique feature of these is they’re removable but heavy batteries the mopeds have one battery the car uses two of the exact same battery the new Hyundai ionic 5n was at the show and available to test drive also on display were the cona and the ionic six [Music] next up was talio ebikes they were running a draw to win a bike byd seemed to be popular with a large queue for test dri D and lots of people looking at the display models the Tesla store was quite busy too whilst I’m not keen on the minimalistic nature of Tesla interior controls I have to say that I did like that shade of [Music] blue Tesla isn’t just the cars they were also promoting their charges too start [Music] kind of feel like BT are we doing your right across the grass past the huge deck chairs and towards the rear of the exhibition Hall was the commercial vehicle Zone also here we found the me City cars and vans these were something I don’t think I’d seen before [Music] you after the commercial vehicles was the food and drink area as it was only just after opening this area was pretty quiet when I was shooting the video the orire EV Club had a stall next to the food area one with the hyrogen question hyrogen is got one yeah my wife yeah we got all hydrogen is the future is it the entrance at the back of the hall led to the Giga theater and restaurant area which in turn led to the main exhibition Hall the first stall in the hall was Innovation Automotive showing two car brands I’d not seen before one of which had been unveiled on the Friday at the show [Music] good I then took a quick tour of all the other stands feel free to pause the video to have a closer look at them good morning and welcome to everything electric the Fireside chap Robert the and Helen chy will be starting in 2 minutes at the gig theater that’s the fire sign chat Robert the and Helen start with gig two minutes evision rent out lots of different vehicles and were amongst other things displaying Apparently one of only two Ford F-150 Lightning trucks in the UK you don’t realize how big those are until you stand next to one they’re absolutely huge and to contrast large with small they also had a do good zero micro car and a micr Lino Quenton Wilson was present representing Fair charge again as I was touring the hall fairly early most people were still queuing to secure their test drives outside which is why the stall was quiet EV man was working on the give energy stand I did see Harry a bit later on too as well as catch a chat with EV [Music] man there were a few vendors of Home energy and heating Solutions present at the show [Music] so [Music] at the end of the hall was the energy advice Zone e [Music] hello come closer don’t be shy come film inside and post on your social media [Music] [Music] jesis had a couple of cars on display I forgot to go into the main entrance hall whilst filming the tour in there were a couple of other stalls including Jor cell’s home battery stall but I did manage to catch up with the jorel bunny [Music] so it’s been quite a full day uh seen lots of things I’ve driven a couple of interesting cars uh and uh it’s been you know good weather all the time so thanks for watching and hope to see you next time
