I would however take advantage of that yard and take a weekend to go biking for your intended daily milleage on saturday, get back home and setup camp, cook it out on the yard, sleep over it and in the morning of sunday pack up everything after breakfast (in the lawn) and ride out another day.

Gives you a chance to test out the feel of the bike, test out the gear, see how all fits together and if you need to adjust things or not. If things go downhill during the night, just fold and crawl back to bed 🙂

If you’re having fun, you’re ready.
