Having trouble deciding on my first real road bike – trying my best to choose despite minimal descriptions on some of the four options. The Topstone is offered at $775 and the Allez at $700(with an extra wheel set) Off-road ability is a plus, but not required. The synapse owner says he believes it’s a 2019 bike.
What would you pick? Looking for some insight from those who know much more than I.

All of these are quite different;
Synapse – A relaxed geometry endurance bike, good beginner bike
Topstone – This is a gravel bike, the 47c wheels and 1x setup will be far better suited to off-road
Allez – Another fairly relaxed, good beginner bike.
Supersix – Carbon racing bike, will be quite an aggressive riding position compared to the others.
The Synapse doesn’t look like a 2019, it looks like my 2014 but with different colours.

Synapse seems like a better deal. 105 is better than apex.
