The curved “stays” (?) look v cool but unfortunately the realities of fixed/single speed riding (specifically, the need to adjust chain tension by sliding the axle forward and backward) mean that the hub will only rarely be perfectly centered in the stays’ circle, which means the gap between tire and stays varies in size, which doesn’t look so cool.
