in but it will be always good it is always good to come to learn together and ask question because during Sunday service we don’t always have time so it will be a time to ask for question and the Lord 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Wednesday coming um let us always remember to keep the sanctuary clean please if you drop anything you know please take it with you as we’re going and let us also re remember to invite people we have operation 1,000 going on and I pray I believe God is taking us there so let’s remember to invite people to church let’s try to use our social uh social platforms to invite people you can post our program our time of worship on your status daily and that we you know it will magnet people and encourage them to know that yes there’s something going on here the Lord bless us in Jesus name amen it is a men’s weekend coming Hallelujah what’s happening where are the men are you excited amen it is a men’s weekend between 10th and 16th of June so they are going to be having few they going to even the women are excited for the men oh my goodness are we invited thank you amen so on Monday the 11th of June there’s going to be a program for them on Saturday they are going to be hanging out and on Sunday is the grand finale which will be here in church please men make sure you make yourself available and because of that there’s going to be a very brief meeting for all the for our offering offering and tithe we believe in tithing in this church th is 1 cent of our income and you know you need to have a revelation for this you know when if we are saying it all the time life I have had several brushes with death in the course of my over 70 years on Earth I won’t tell you 70 words glory to God and on Tuesday the Lord added another year to my life Hallelujah you see I wasn’t even meant to live past todler years to my todler I was told they had already actually dug a grave for me when I was a toddler because because I was sick unto death in quot and they knew they were seemingly thought I would not survive they had to cover the grave with sand I had had several brushes as I said with de I’ve been unconscious of all days collapsing suddenly I bless the Lord that I’m over 70 a couple of years over 70 I praise him I bless him congratulations the Lord going to be with you in Jesus name hold on hold on done don’t start yet I’m going to read a couple of uh testimonies here before we continue with the live testifiers Hallelujah this one is from Sister Christiana ad I want to thank God for preserving my life this month is my month of birth by this time last year I was in a serious pain and the doctors didn’t know the cause of all the situation all medical examinations were done and they all show that nothing was wrong with me the pain started after 3 days that we finished 50 days fast last year pain that made me stay under cold shower during winter the pain continued and it affected my studies and my health while myself and my family were praying we got the news that my sister-in-law in Scotland lost her husband with the same experience and died I turned my prayer to Thanksgiving even though I was gone through pains and we have issue with our Visa at that period by the end of the year we got various jobs with cosos that we had to ask God which one to choose from also the medication I was placed on that will help me stop the feeling of the pain which I have tried to stop but couldn’t I told God I don’t know I don’t want to enter the new year with the burden by 31st of December I stopped the medication and the pain never came back I thank God for preserving me my family and renew and renew all that concerns Us Praise the Lord one more this is from f y Joy good morning church I want to testify to god of what God did in my life last week Sunday as the pastor was Runing up the service he said someone is going for an interview during the week that Mercy will speak for him or her and I believed it I went for an interview during the week and Mage did speak for me even when I passed the question but I I was not having even the criteria and the qualification for the job but I got the job all the same Mery really spoke for me secondly on the 14th of this month our marriage will clock 10 years God has been so good to me and my household Hallelujah we thank God for that and we say congratulations to the because this time last year the Lord bless blessed my family with this beautiful princess after years of waiting as in praying trusting God for a miracle the Lord did it for us and in fact the pregnancy was smooth the delivery was smoother and God has been faithful our growth has been amazing I want to thank God because it can only be God even when I’ve lost hope I’m like ah will I ever have a child but the Lord did it I’m grateful to God because in few days she’s going to be a yelled I want to say thank you Jesus congratulations may the Lord continue to preserve her in Jesus name to month of Mercy um our daughter pel 10th one as well on the 13th of May and I just we just bless God for her life on behalf of myself and my husband who’s not here today we bless God for her life and her birth as well um I just remember when um she was born and how her heartbeat stopped and it was an emergency and I ended up in the theater but I just celebrate God for how far he has brought us and on the 15th of May as well was my mother’s birthday and the 31st of may just two days ago was my birthday as well so may is indeed a special month so I just glorify God hallelujah hallelujah left the hospital and um the week after my dad passed away and then he was 86 I really want to thank God because this weekend he was buried and um everyone that came they all went but I could not I saw him last month celebrating his birthday the 8y year birthday I was like God I give you all the glory I give you all the honor because he God that did the doctor said he God and my my son he saw me when he was in hospit he said Mommy I drank the sniper but I thought it was a Coke and I said yeah God turned that sniper to Coke for you that was then then I give thanks because 10 years ago God made me a mother I appreciate God because this month 16 Prosper with turn 10 I want to say thank you Jesus for your faithfulness in my home and may your name be praised forever in Jesus name amen we the Lord that in all these years God was with us because this year I’m not only expecting one baby I’m not I’m not to in fact one has come one came in the month of May and I want to say God you are faithful yesterday my younger brother called me oh don’t make noise don’t make noise I’m expecting a baby and I’m like God you are faithful I have come as a woman that the Lord has shown Mercy you know how it is only you with kids in your family he’s strange he’s strange but God broke that that Devil’s Covenant over my life and I am indeed grateful because I have said that when this babies come I will dance and dance I will do Thanksgiving Hallelujah and they will come in the name of Jesus before that one let me quickly go over some that are here sister Tina already came out I think she opportunity um I’m here this morning to testify of the goodness of God um just this week I worked Monday Tuesday Wednesday because I had anual leave from Thursday till the rest of the week and every day driving to work Monday Tuesday Wednesday I just had this thought in my mind it could be an accident something could happen and I trusted my car very well cuz I always do the checks on the car and on Wednesday I swapped my car for the company car driving with the company car and then suddenly something happened I’m always careful on the road and then suddenly someone just pulled out I just did an emergency break I don’t know how the car stopped but God just preserved my life and while sitting there this morning I was just thinking God has been faithful to me and then on the 31st my daughter turned five and I’m here this morning to thank God because her life has been a manifestation of God’s faithfulness in school she’s amazing no sickness no ill health everything has just been perfect and I’m here this morning to say to God may your name alone be exalted in Jesus name amen and the Lord come to preserve you and your family in the name of Jesus before you let me read out one here thank God for the month of June it’s a special month in our house um I’ve got two daughters and one of them will be 21 years old in the month so we thank God for that and secondly so a month ago I just noticed like a I wanted to pack my hair I couldn’t lift my hands up it was so strange and I was like what did I do with my hands I know by the virtue of my job I do some restraint I’m a mental health nurse so I couldn’t even remember the last time I restrained someone so I was like God what is happening I couldn’t when I’m when I’m sleeping I have to get up to turn it was as bad as that so I couldn’t figure it out but the pain was going towards my chest and you know I wasn’t thinking of anything when he was going towards my chair the next thing I did I rang the gep in I said I want ECG they said for what I said have to run I wanted to do a ECG last last I mean last year August and I traveled so I want to do that ECG they said it doesn’t work that way so so they said no we have to start all over again I have to write do e see at work the only thing is that you know so I was like I needed it for what I needed it so so what happened so what happened so I got there so I got there anyway to call the long story there was nothing wrong with me they said they’ve done all the I said do the blood test they did the blood test and they ranged me Madam nothing is wrong with your liver nothing is wrong with your kidy nothing is wrong with you I said why do I have ch I mean pain coming towards my so I said okay let’s do the blood the um blood pressure and as they were about to do the blood I said come on no no no no don’t don’t touch that the man the woman said you have um frozen shoulder I said frozen shoulder for where where is he coming from anyway they said okay see the fysio they’re going to give you exercise I went to see the fio and we chatter chatter chatter chatter the main reason why the the exercise maybe I will get it tomorrow so we started I’m going to send it to you and I left the place and I were like we ched with all other things and uh you know I like so when I got home the Holy Spirit just ministered to me God has healed me so um I want to give the testimony on um wash night service when we were doing Holy Communion the last Holy Communion I picked part of the the blood of Jesus I rub it all over rub it on my chest rub it on my shoulder and to God be the glory look at me shouting hallelujah hallelujah nothing like a I mean fro shoulder Glory Hall T testimony is about every one of us we thank God it is exactly a year that we got the keys to this building it is a wild testimony Hallelujah we thank God for that thank you for that amen uh the final one I believe final one uh this is from Sister sh I want to thank God for his goodness and mercy in my life and my family throughout the month of May and for God adding another glorious year here to my year last week I give him all the glory we thank God for that the Lord come to preserve to lay the foundation and speak about God’s favor and throughout this month all the messages which shall be hearing all our prayer Focus every step we take shall be towards favor I pray for you that you will experience the favor of God this season in the name of Jesus Amen God’s favor that’s the title of the message Proverbs 3:4 which will be our anchor passage for this month it says so shall thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man can you repeat after me so shall thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man can you personalize it so shall I find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man I want you to see the way it is arranged you find favor before God before you can find favor before man God will not come down and give you a job God will not come down and open that door but when you find favor before God he will ensure that people around you he will ensure that people that comes your way they will do your bding that will be the testimony of somebody this month in the name of Jesus what is favor briefly favor means to bestow a privilege upon someone another many of favor is to prefer someone above other or to prefer something above other and very briefly we are going to use David as our case study the life of King David in the book of 1st Samuel chapter 16 from verse 1 to 13 God decided he wanted to choose another king in the place of Saul because Saul disobeyed God didn’t carry out what God asked him to do he did carried it out but partially so God decided he was going to choose another king while the reigning King was still alive Hallelujah David in his family was number eight Jesse had eight eight sons and when Samuel got there he said Jesse should bring out his son he brought the first one God said I have rejected him remember favor means you are pre prefer above other God saying I have rejected him simply means he was qualified but God said I do not want to do what to favor him I want to take note of that somebody can be qualified but there if there’s no favor the person will be struggling that will not be your lot I said that will not be your lot in the name of Jesus Amen David was not qualified at all he was number eight but God preferred him above all his seven Elder Brothers he was not qualified to be the king because he was not the first son but the favor of God located him May the favor of God locate you in the name of Jesus am we all know the life of David I’ve preached about David here David was not even loved by his father because when the man of God came and said bring all your sons what was he supposed to do send for all the sons wherever they are I don’t know how he managed to gather the seven and I want to believe all the seven were not inside one room that day but he called for them and forgot about David but God decided that it is David that will be favor God Favored him and he was anointed to be king you know one of the things that will let you know that David was not loved by his brothers was that even when they called him in they were just looking at him they’re going to choose a king and they thinking it can’t be you and you know what David said after all this in Psalm 23:5 said thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my en in the presence of my brothers did you say Brothers they were brothers but they were what they were enemies and thou anointest my head with oil and my cups runs over so even the presence of your enemies in the presence of those who don’t like you at work in the presence of those who don’t like you in your community all that matters is that if the favor of God is upon you they will have no choice other than to Bow before you they may not like you but when the favor of God is upon you you’ll be the one to be chosen you’ll be the one to be preferred you will just discover that that door will open for you and that will happen for you in the name of Jesus Amen when God decides to favor a man he can choose you you whether you are qualified or not if you look at the case of Mary we are still coming back to David I just want to bring out something here Mary was a virgin and in the time in that time obviously Mary was not the only virgin in the whole nation of Israel but the favor of God found her out to be the mother of Jesus Luke chapter 1 30-31 and the angel said unto her fear not me Mary for thou Hast found favor with God and behold thou shall conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and thou shall call his name Jesus thou has found favor with God when you find favor with God when anyone find favor with God the supernatural will continue to happen in their lives Mar found favor with God so she was chosen and I pray you will find favor with God in the name of Jesus you may be for an interview and you just discover that though you have the qualification required and by the time you get there you discover that other people they have the same qualification like you so what do you need at that point favor you are all qualified you need the favor of God a beautiful lady who wants a husband two or three men can be chasing that lady is that not and that lady can see that okay I like tall people all of them are tall I like somebody who’s educated all of them are educated what will make one of them to win the race is what oh because some people ask three of them so who are you confusion the favor of God will work for you a I said the favor of God will work for you in the name of Jesus somebody told me that they are doing selection in their place of work a very highbrow job so somebody said can you help me send my my CV there not my own the person was narrating the story to me so I asked him so how do you do it he said there are some of the C they will not even open it at all I said why he said when they look at this look at that he said some they will even look at what university you just put it aside I said but the university person went to doesn’t matter he can he may be more competent that he said that’s not the way it works that some they will open some they will not even open you need the favor of God anywhere one of the prayer you need to pray I said it last month is the prayer of Mercy another prayer you need to pray daily is what prayer of favor you may be qualified for something but what they don’t open that your CV what your name is not even mention among those that want to be considered what do you do David’s name was not mentioned the man told Samuel told Jessie bring all your children they didn’t say bring some of your children and he omitted David but the name that was omitted was the name that God wanted to favor so at the end of the day the man of God has to ask do you have another son somewhere oh he said oh David and he was not giving his excuses uh he’s in the bush they didn’t ask him all those question do you have another son was the question so he was trying to say this guy you are thinking about it was not qualified but the favor of God and the man of God said we will not sit down until he comes here hallelujah the favor of God will locate you Amen in the name of Jesus proverb 3:4 says so shall thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man you and I need the favor of God in every area of Our Lives for David protocol was set aside because of God’s favor to choose a king in Israel it was supposed to be according to B he was number eight Jesse thought Oh Aah My First Son should be presented God said I rejected he presented abinadab second one rejected he presented shama the third one he was not favored until the seventh one none of them were favored but David was the chosen one because God wanted to favor him God set aside protocol to favor him I pray for you this very month of June protocol shall be set aside to favor you am I said protocol shall be set aside to favor you in the name of Jesus to choose a king the first thing they needed to do that God asked Samuel to do was that sanctify them and bring them they were they needed to be Sanctified before they even look at who is qualified he Sanctified those seven children of Jessie but when David came there was no time to do any sanctification there was no time to do any cleansing as he was coming in he God just said bring the oil anoint him if you read your Bible very well in the land of Israel God will says if you want to come to my presence you need to be sanctify you clean yourself physically if you need to make some confession oh God forgive me if I have sin or whatever before you go into his presence for David there was no sanctification there was no time for consecration he as they were just bringing him in God said anoint him the favor of God will break protocol for you a I said the favor of God will break protocol for you for you to succeed in life for you to go very far and for you to go very fast you need God’s favor you need God’s favor and the Lord will favor you amen you need to be on God’s side David was a man who is on God’s side even though at that time he was anointed we didn’t see that but if you look at the story of the life of David all through you could see him on God’s side you have to have have a heart that year after God you have to have the heart that year after the things of God God looked down through the life of all David’s brother he didn’t see a heart that pant after him or that panted after him but he saw in David a heart that can worship a heart that can give thanks a heart that will be doing that that that can fellowship with God and so the Lord decided to favor him Psalm 5:12 the book of Psalm 5 verse2 it says for thou Lord will bless the righteous with favor will thou Compass him as with a shield David had the heart of a righteous person David had a tender heart a heart that is teachable that was why even though when he sin when everybody talk about David said oh yeah he killed Uriah he married BBA but immediately his sin was brought before him what did he do he began to ask God for Mercy he did not try to cover up he did not try to prove it wasn’t my fault it was the woman that didn’t cover the place where she was having a shower and things like that he had a heart after God no wonder in Psalm 103 veres 1 to5 David wrote I Will Bless The Lord I mean bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not what and what was the first thing he said who forgive you of your iniquities who forgiveth all your iniquities and he remember how God put food on his table how God preserved his life even in the midst of his own brother who never liked him if his father have his way David was not going to be king at all at all and there are some families like that unfortunately if his father has his way if fact I’m sure if the brothers knew that that was what going to happen they could have prevented David from coming home if possible if possible I don’t know what you are believing God for I want you to take the prayer of favor seriously over whatever you are believing God for I want to take that very very serious when the favor of God is upon you doors will be opening for you left and right people will be asking you why are you doing even you yourself you be confused when things are happening you’ll be asking yourself why me how is it what have I put in place what did I do to deserve this I pray that will be the testimony of somebody under the sound of my voice this month in the name of Jesus things happened for David things were just happening for him and because he was he had the favor of God upon him even when Saul heard that
