I bought this bike a week ago, and it had a very slight rattling sound, that I was fine with(thought it was the cables). Every piece of the bike was working perfectly and the headset was tight and had no play. I investigated further because I was very curious where the sound is coming from. Found out the bikes headsets lover part was grinded a bit and it made the sound. I want to return it, but it is a used bike and I dont know what to do. The guy didnt told me that this was a thing. What should I do now?

Pay for carbon repair. Get a new frame
I’m not sure what your issue is. That looks like every carbon integrated headset. Put some grease in there and re-assemble.
Where are you located? I do carbon work, but rarely repairs. Have you consulted a local bike shop for their take?
That looks like minor wear. I would grease it and stick in a new headset bearing.
