And furthermore, how do you feel you are perceived by roadies and mtb dudes. I know a lot of you are probably cross disciplined, but I’m curious if y’alls interactions are similar to mine.

I go to a few group rides, and I gotta say I don’t think I fit in all that well. Doesn’t bother me much, I still have a good time, but I get some interesting looks. A lot of road dudes around town won’t even wave or acknowledge me around the shop or on the road. I like road bikes, but I much rather ride BMX. Do you all feel ostracized, or generally accepted.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. We’re still gonna ride and have a good time. Just curious about any interactions y’all have had.

I don’t really care about the exercise boys.. I do enjoy watching them eat shit trying to jump off a curb. The mtb stuff is different. There’s the aggressive road bike style mtb guys which are just extreme exercise boys. But then there’s the dirt jumpers and downhill guys that are doing insane stuff. Those guys usually also ride bmx and are cool.

Kinda. I feel like I relate more to a skater than a cyclist, since the main drive is learning tricks.
