Found an affinity Kissena frame at the bottom of a pile of frames in a garage off Craigslist. It looks like somebody cut the seat tube for some reason, but otherwise looks rideable? Probably going to end up sanding the whole thing and having my artist friend pair it for me if it is rideable. Only paid $17.50 for it so I won’t be too devastated if it’s not rideable but would love to be able to fix it up. Don’t know anything about Affinity bikes or this style of frame so no clue how to properly assess… does this look alright other than the seat tube? And is that a problem I can work around/fix?

I’m no frame expert, but as long as the crack-looking things on the rest of the seat tube are just dirt and grime, I think you stand a decently not-low chance of being able to fix it with a frame expert.
I’m sure a frame builder who knows his stuff should be able to get/fab you a new seatpost clamp on there with not too much trouble. good luck 🙂
