Hi, Finally after years im planning to get the “real bike”. As I don’t drive only on perfect roads after the googling through the forums I decided for gravel bike and after more searching I decided for Canyon.. As my budget is 2300 I’m deciding between these three bikes:
-Grizl cf sl7
-Grizl 8 by Ekar
– Grizl 8
Could you please advise which one of these would be the best choice ? Or maybe should I look on the other bikes as well and if so which would you recommend ?

I can tell.you on Thursday when My Grizl 8 CF 1BY is delivered.
the cheapest or the color you like best. the technical difference on their levels is so minor, you wouldnt notice the difference.
personally, i would opt for the cheaper pathlite. it also comes with a supsension, has only 3kg more.
Get the sl7 with the 2x GRX or FSA equivalent.
My buddy has the 1x and when we are on the road riding together I am usually off the front pulling bc he has run out of gears . Also you can convert to a 1x later on if you choose . Just need to remove the front derailleur . Oppose to new derailleur, and a new brake/shifting level system .

If you plan to ride a fair amount of tarmac I would go with the CF SL 8 with 2x GRX. I have that bike and use it mainly for crappy roads and mixed road/gravel and it’s perfect. I have an Endurace I use for road riding good surfaces (model 30 mm tires max). On the Grizl 2x I am happy with the gear options for a road ride and I don’t think I would be on 1x. I did heavily consider the 1x when I bought my Grizl but ultimately I’m happy with my choice. YMMV.
i got my cf sl 7 one week ago! I would buy it 100% again! Its a carbon bike for fckn 2299€! The 8 1by EKAR is not bad but its Alu…
I have the SL7 with the 2x and I’m really happy with the gear range. I live in WA and have some super steep climbs and ride a decent amount of road to get to them. If you don’t have many steep climbs or don’t see yourself touring/bikepacking the 1x could work.
If you’re actually riding gravel, the 8 1by… if you’re mostly riding tarmac like you said, then an Ultimate.
