i’ve been using this bike to pull my kids on family rides. i really know very little about bikes. it’s a breezer 5 speed i bought during pandemic. i was thinking of purchasing a hybrid of some sort on fb marketplace to make my life easier and brings me to my 2 questions
1) how much of a difference would it make? would it be substantially easier? we go pretty far sometimes (like 15 miles round trip and it’s not particularly flat) and the kids weigh a combined 60 lbs. it’s not easy. this is fine for around the block tho (and quite comfortable)
2) i’ve been looking at posts for trek, cannondale, giant, raleigh. seems to be a few trek trek multitracks for example that look like they would fit the bill and cheap. we don’t bike a lot so i’m not looking to spend more than 150. any other brands reasonable?

The picture suggests you have no gears, only rim brakes. For hilly climbs, gear ratios may help. I tow 60-lbs at time, but it’s bottles of water and groceries, and I’m using a [3-wheel recumbent trike](https://preview.redd.it/4aoszgn0phtc1.jpeg?width=1024&auto=webp&s=1ba8306cbb573efe058d2035bab7e42e5a6cdb1c). It does what I need done.
