I don't agree that bicycles are actually way more effective and efficient than motorbikes. Although it does not require fuel, when it comes to bumpy and muddy roads in Ukraine, that's when the problem came. Motorbikes have more speed, range, and power over any kind of harsh terrain. In Asia, many people there used these vehicles to transport their products in the mountains when trucks and cars cannot do the job. I personally think that technicals and motorbikes are better transportation than bicycles.
Shame on Ukraine which is getting billions in aid yet the front like soilder is getting this

Its not weird to use bikes, ever since bikes existed armies have been using those to transport troops or goods to the frontlines. Its faster than walking, cheaper than horses and so a good alternative if you dont have enough vehicles and lets be honest, no army in the world has enough vehicles or fuel to keep a conscripted army going. Yes, Ukraine has gotten hundreds of vehicles but those can only transport thousands of troops. 1 IFV can only transport about 10 infantrymen. You need far more vehicles and fuel if you want to mechanise a full conscripted army consisting of hundreds of thousands of troops
I would not be surprised if the Russians deployed bikes as transport sooner or later, if the question is do you want a bike or do you want to walk you probably take the bike

I have been follow the war in Ukraine for 3 years in FB , Twitter , Telegram and another source like deep state , youtube , ISW and I can say Ukraine are in lack of almost everything because they are fighting with the 2st army in the world that had 10 thousand of tank , armored vehicle , thousand of artillery and with a million of troops but we still see a Ruzzian using low standard gear or fake gear some soldier don't even get paid, their quality of life in the battlefield is poor. Is this supposed to be a Ruzzian quality?
For me seeing Ukraine using cardboard drone or bicycle is normal but Ruzzian second best army in the world using bike , turtle tanks, it's not normal it's funny and showing the lack of unprofessional
