New to the world of fixed gear cycling. I bought a State 4130 that I really enjoyed until it got stolen recently. I'm in a high crime area for bikes and want something for getting to the gym and grocery shopping (under 5 K trips) and don't want to spend much based on the theft concerns.
Just saw this add on FB marketplace. Would you guys consider this for $100?
Any recommendations for my situation would be great as well!

If it fits you, then $100 is worth it in my opinion so long as the seat post isn’t seized in the frame and everything else is in proper working order. Extra points for the mixte frame which is cool.

To be clear this is likely not a fixed gear but a singlespeed, and I suggest leaving it as a singlespeed
The brakes probably won’t be amazing (because single pivot caliper brakes are mechanically inferior to dual pivot) but otherwise it’s a fine bike that will do what you need it to
