Old Dogs do The Purbeck Bimble

A two-day bikepacking route around the Isle of Purbeck, on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. Details of the route are on @BIKEPACKINGcom.
We edited the Bimble to reduce the climbing a little and make it more even across the two days. We rode it in May 2024, after a lot of rain.
The route features incredible views yet these come at a price; some steep hike-a-bike up scree/muddy hills.
You need reasonable level of fitness to take this one on, and a mountain bike might be preferable in wet months.
We took on the route anticlockwise, beginning and ending in Corfe Castle, with an overnight stop in Swanage.
