New to the sub and biking in general. I keep seeing folks with vintage specialized hard rocks. What’s special about them? How old is this one? Is this worth buying? Does not seem like seller knows anything about bikes either because when I asked for the size he said “well the wheels are 26”

No idea on the age but if it fits you, it’s pretty cheap for a bike that looks like it is in reasonably good condition.
If the style and size suit you, this is a fair price on a great classic bike.
