  1. Probably not any catch, it looks like a basic State Bicycle bike. Selling at the price because it wasn’t worth much when it was new. They’re decent frames from what I have heard, and would make a good first one.

I have one. it’s ok but the real wheel weight 1.8kg!!! and front 1.3kg

The catch is it may or may not be stolen. another catch is the nuts and bolts may be loose and you gotta tighten them.

What is the bike rack on the back? I’m looking for one for my fixed gear, that mounts to the wheels

  5. It’s just old. Not an uncommon price for a state single speed, and a good deal on their 4130 frame. The state branded components probably need a mix of love and replacing. They’re budget components and they tend to be just “okay” and give up after a while. That’s also one sad saddle, harsh looking pedals, and the ergonomic grips wouldn’t be my choice. It’s pretty much a given that you’ll be choosing contact points more to your own preference on most any used bike though. It’s a good deal as long as you’re realistic about what you’re getting.

  6. Bikes are super cheap in some areas. I bought a Reynolds steel Dawes the other day for £10. It needed tyres and tubes.
