Good morning everyone it is 6:40 a.m. and we’re in Charleville-Meziérès, France and today we’re going to try to find some iconic Jet Lag filming spots starting with this one but I actually have a train to catch in like 20 minutes so we got to go go go! Oh it’s so beautiful out here can we just take a moment to appreciate okay I actually got to go this way go go go so here’s the deal I’m on my way from Paris to Luxembourg and I thought why not take the scenic route why not stop at Charleville-Meziérès and some other Jet Lag iconic locations along the way so today we’re going to try to hit as many as we can and it’s going to be really fun hopefully and hopefully I won’t actually miss my train and we’re going to get to Luxembourg in one piece but we shall see This is highly embarrassing it’s the gazebo there’s the train station here’s the gazebo all right I have to set this up somehow I don’t have a tripod backpack this seems fine oh wow backpack tripod yay I’m trying to think of something to say okay so right now as you can see um the Jet Lag crew is receiving the keys to the city oh no oh my God it’s Mayor Bowser and her laser eyes and she’s tearing down the gazebo again what they’re going to do ah Mayor Bowser stop that that’s not the mayor I didn’t vote for… Welcome to [in a bad French accent] Gare de Charleville-Meziérès wait [in a worse French accent] Gare de Charleville-Meziérès It is a gorgeous train station – actually I’m going to stop and take a picture [Sam Denby voice] Garrgeous! I’m going to the Champagne-Ardenne TGV I’m pretty sure that Adam and Sam took the 658 bus to Hirson during Tag 1 I’m feeling a little bit parched so I’m going to try to find a bo’o’o’wo’o We made it on the train! Here’s the Pepsi I accidentally got All right I’m ditching the mic because the sound quality was terrible So sorry about that um but we’ve arrived at the Champagne-Ardenne TGV station and I think it’s time to get some breakfast what do you think? I like how there’s a sign for the pizza just in case you didn’t know where it was I forgot the one they got but the Notre Dame looks really good okay let’s go for the Notre Dame While this is cooking, look what I have! I got a tip that there’s no Haribo Goldbears at this station um so I’m going to try to do that challenge right now I think oh god I think that’s lemon shoot okay wrong wrong wrong let’s start okay second one that’s definitely orange I’m so bad at this oh my god it’s almost ready wow here’s what we have today Sacrée Pizza that looks super good oh yeah I forgot that – a little rippy rip oh my god [Off-brand Snack Zone Music] what is so good oh my God solid like 8 out of 10 it’s really good [off-brand Snack Zone music] okay I’m going to try one more time this one’s white I’m pretty sure this is yellow yes! I’m going to guess it’s white yes okay going be done with that now it’s not even 9:00 a.m. and I’ve already had vending machine pizza, Pepsi, and Haribo Gummy Bears Truly the breakfast of champions I just passed a photo booth but I don’t think it’s the right one so I’m going to keep looking that was the second photo booth all right so this is the platform they went down which means the photo booth is right around the corner all right, wow this needs to be fixed let me fix that real quick I think we’re good look straight ahead 3 2 1 straight ahead oh! oh thank you okay [something in French] He just handed me my pizza This is actually a really nice place to sit for a little while can see it’ll be a good hiding spot Oh my god, here we are So I have a little bit of time before I have to get to Luxembourg um so we might do something crazy do we want to see what the mole rats are doing? Cursed! You are now being Ratatouille’d! The next move you make will be decided by a rat. Please access the Smithsonian Zoo’s naked mole rat live feed and go to camera 2 whatever direction you first see a rat cross the camera you must travel at least 2 miles in that direction before continuing Hi bird do you want some pizza? Aw cute look at this place! look at this! look at that! oh it’s [bad French] Charles de Gaulle, Charles de Gaulle you know Metz is really lovely I like it, I like it here! ~Kwassant~ All right we got our tea, we got our ~kwassant~ and I’m feeling good I did research so I had to go on Wi-Fi so I could watch the naked mole rat cam the mole rat was going west There’s no way to go back to Champagne-Ardenne from Metz for a while so instead I’m going to go to Nancy and the first stop is a few miles more than two miles west of Metz so that’s what we’re going to do um I’ve headed back to the train station right now and in about 30 minutes I’m taking the train down Welcome to Pagny-sur-Moselle. Um super random that I’m here getting some weird looks I have 30 minutes until my train so I don’t think I’m ever going to be here again so I’m going to go on a little walkabout I’m pretty sure it’s like all residential but it’s like in this valley in there hills around and it’s actually very very pretty so [Sam Denby voice] Garrrgeous! Regardez ici! Regardez! Regardez tout? Woo! They’re so FAST! That was cool anyway regardez! Les maisons, Le bus Le [sic] voiture Le parking gare Le chien Amazon Well I’m back at the train station!
