  1. Balpark is correct, depending on condition and local markets this bike should be somewhere between 250 and 500.

  2. On paper you can probably do better but if the bike is in good condition and you don’t need to change any parts…it’s ok I guess. This bike sold new for $1500. I don’t know if I personally would get a bike with mechanical disc brakes to be honest but I do have an old Defy myself (rim brake one though) and I can say Defy bikes are good.

  3. If the condition is good then it’s not a horrible deal… It is a horrible deal if you immediately need new cables, new chain, new cassette, new tires, new brake pads etc. as then you might be dropping another $200+ into it.. so try and understand how good the condition is.

    I’d pay that if the gears are in good condition. Having a bike you can ride today is sometimes better than saving some money and getting discouraged by bad quality or repairs.
