I ride my regular bike everyday for work and ocassional weekend rides but this will be my first gravel bike. So I'm looking for something easy and cheap for begginers. This are my main options so far. What do you guys think?
I've heard many good things about the Triban from Decathlon but since the price is nor that far off, maybe the Cube is worth it, which seems like a more serious bike manufactor overall. Any other recommendations?

the triban is by no means bad and unserious. but i think the nuroad brings some advantages that woul make it a frake to upgrade later for example the through axle instead of quick release. even if the nuroad is already stretching the budget. if you have 250 more, you could get a rose blend with hydraulic brakes
I own the Triban GRVL120 from 2000. It takes everything I throw at it. Changed tyres and brakes, though. If you ride all year, remember this is a former road bike frame and I constantly find myself using a little stick getting the mud cleared from the fork and rear. Especially with mud guards.
It was for the price back then a good decision, but last time I checked nothing changed from the specs except the price. Wouldn’t buy again because of the tire clearance.
Other than that: The rider makes the difference, not the bike 😊
