  1. Both are viable options. Both very strong and built to last. Any one would be fine. It would really come down to personal preference with brand

    Shadow come with a 1 year warranty.

    Odyssey come with a lifetime warranty. 

    I don’t have personal experience with these cranks because I’ve been running the same bsd cranks for the last almost decade without issue, but I can say Shadow to me always came off like a budget brand. The parts you get to run until you can afford better. I’ve had shadow parts, like pegs, and chains, but I personally wouldn’t put my faith in the brand on high stress parts like bars, or cranks. But that’s my own personal bias, not fact. 

    I used to run Odyssey cranks and never had an issue with them. 

    I’d go Odyssey again if I didn’t go bsd. 

  3. Also, are you sure you need 175mm? There are good cranks in shorter length too. If you don’t have pegs, all are fine.
